A Bit About Me
Since a very young age I showed an exemplary eye for exquisite jewelry, but at first I didn't pursue it. In fact, I chose instead to pursue a career in engineering. As such, I finished my high school curriculum and received early acceptance into Virginia Tech's School of Engineering in Blacksburg, VA, USA. Finances limited, I had to drop out after the first year. However, I did not allow this minor inconvenience to limit my potential. I worked very hard and in just 18 months, I went from a college drop out to the most sought after Beverage Systems Engineer in North America. After working for 4 years as an engineer in the beverage industry, I realized that my true passion still resided in the astounding brilliance of jewelry. It was at this time, while still working as an engineer, that I decided to launch my jewelry company, Solus in Existentia, which is Latin for "the only one in existence." It has always been my belief that truly beautiful jewelry cannot be replicated, but that the beauty resides in the individuality of each and every piece. It is for this reason that every piece is made entirely by hand, and no design is ever produced twice. I pour my heart into every detail of my work, so that others may also appreciate the unparalleled beauty found in this world. Every piece of jewelry from Solus in Existentia is not only crafted with the highest precision, but it is also made using only the highest quality materials. Our "yellow" pieces are constructed with 22k gold, the highest purity possible while still maintaining rigidity. Our "white" pieces can be made from high-purity platinum or palladium, depending on our customer's needs. Additionally, all of the diamonds and gemstones we use are natural, meaning nothing came out of a lab. Every piece of our exquisite jewelry came directly from the Earth.
